A Tilde-Bang, or ~!, is a new kind of way to end your sentences on the internet. Originated by not knowing how to fucking type, or if you have fat fingers.

Bryan stole this idea from Dean Rasmussen of DeathValleyDriver.com.

It also has a history in Unix computing, as explained here: http://tildebang.com/tildebang.html

The most high-profile sighting of the tilde-bang may be from this story in the New York Times:

http://www.nytimes.com/2008/09/14/us/politics/14palin.html?_r=3&hp=&oref=slogin&pagewanted=print&oref=slogin

In it, an aide to Governor Sarah Palin was told that he sent sensitive information to Gov. Palin's state email rather than her personal one. The aide replied, "Whoops~!"

In linking the story in a daily f4wonline.com update, Bryan added, "One step closer to my life's goal of making [the tilde-bang] an accepted form of punctuation."
